Toshiba Satellite A665-S6055 LED TruBrite 16.0-Inch Laptop (Black) Review

Dell Inspiron i1464-4382OBK 1464 14-Inch Laptop (Obsidian Black) Review

Staples bought me for $ 599. The characteristics are i3 M330@2.13 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB HD, 14 "LCD BL @ 1366 x 768, DVD-R / W LED

Originally started ultraportable notebook (such as watching T4400 Pentium and AMD Vision) from HP and Toshiba. The type of laptop without an optical drive, and promises up to 8 hours battery life. I'm glad I decided to go for the Inspiron 1464 The ultra-portable compared to an average of about 1.2 to 1.4 GHz to 2.13 GHz processor 1464 does notThe 1464 sports a i3. I used 1464 for several months with programs like Eclipse, Firefox, [...], and DVD Shrink. This processor works fine for basic productivity. I have a movie of 2 hours on a full charge, I do not expect.

Benefits
– I3 – 2.13 dual core = 4 natural son (not positive what that means, but means that it is fast)
– Attractive design
– The size and weight of Nice
– Optical DVD-R / W
– LED display (LED backlit)

Disadvantages:
– It is moving too bright, fingerprints, the screen shows a lot of glare
to have – discovered that the USB ports can be in the nature
– Touchpad fingertip (, mouse pads) works perfectly 85% of the time, fights with scroll
– Backlight the mind has its moment of connecting / disconnecting the power (not able to maintain user preferences)
– Backlight is the spirit of her when UAC (User Account Control, whichModify / install software) screen dims
– No dedicated GPU (on most models i3, i3 processors have an integrated GPU), which limits the graphics capabilities

Overall I'm satisfied with my decision to go for the Inspiron 1464 Windows 7 is a nice OS, but I did not realize the full potential of the optional 64-bit.

I have to adjust any problems with the computer "dump" on the knees or in a position, brightness after sleep recovery. The big disappointment here is the bright display, even ifa higher resolution than most netbooks, not a very dynamic and the picture is off when you can see from the point of view exactly right. Fortunately, I was using the HDMI output most of the time. Total is a netbook right if you are looking for performance HD-capable and do not care too much about battery life. I take off the screen in normal and battery life disappointing, but in my case I use to make the wall and stuck with my TV as a monitor. I am pleased overall – I got here through Amazon and delays in payment (for the BES next day.) And in perfect condition. Configuration as a power user has been easy. Computer bloatware was minimal (factory installed third-party software that usually do not want or need), which was easily removed – something that can not handle Dell and HP. The bloatwareBluetooth software does more harm than good, but once cleaned up the wireless internet works perfectly. Do not you decide to keep the journal of the face on the program. The ugly topic of Windows 7 may be withdrawn, as used earlier versions to be searched. My only complaint is that true Win7 file folders have a "level" or "step back" as XP had the keys. Install my choice of third-party software was easy. Computer has McAfee free years, I think you canIf you keep viruses – I use Kaspersky, I thank you very much – I was rubbish.
